What is required for an Azerbaijan E-Visa application?

You will be required to provide personal information and documents when completing your Azerbaijan e-Visa application. To make sure you are ready to start your application, review the visa requirements for Azerbaijan here:

• Passport: A valid passport is required for travel to Azerbaijan. Take time to review your passport carefully. Confirm that your passport and the passports of all those traveling in your group are valid for a minimum of 6 months. Additionally, the passport(s) must be valid for at least 3 months following the expiration of your evisa(s).
• Email Address: During your application you will be expected to provide your personal email address. Your email address will be used to update you on the status of your application and will be where your electronic visa is sent. When typing in your email address, be very careful to check for inaccuracies, as you will not be able to update the email address later.
• Travel Dates: What day will you be arriving and leaving Azerbaijan? The Azerbaijan government will require this information when you complete your application. Review your schedule, book flights and/or confirm your transportation before starting your application. You may not be allowed entry if you arrive before or after your visa validation period. So confirm your travel dates, before starting your application.
• Accommodations: The Azerbaijan visa application requires the name and address of where you will be staying during your visit to Azerbaijan. Make sure your accommodation information and/or confirmed bookings are ready before starting your visa application.
• Payment Method: Visa, Mastercard, and Union Pay are acceptable forms of payment. Some applicants may be able to complete a successful payment using Visa Debit, but it is not guaranteed. All applicable visa application fees must be paid before your application can be processed.

What is the Azerbaijan E-Visa application process?

Now that you have the right information, documents and form of payment, you are ready to start your visa application. Thankfully, the Azerbaijan government is now accepting online applications. This convenient process is faster and more cost-effective than conventional in-person applications. Here’s how to get started:

• Website: Go to azerbaijanevisa.org to start your e-visa application.
• Personal Information: Enter your personal information, such as name, birth date, email address, travel dates, and accommodation details into the appropriate fields.
• Documentation: Upload an image of your passport. Black and white or color copies are accepted.
• Group Applications: Now is the opportunity to add additional people to your application. This is applicable for couples, families and groups.
• Confirmation: Make sure all of your information has been entered correctly, as you will not be able to update your application once it is submitted.
• Payment: Pay all relevant application and processing fees. Your application is not complete until the payment has been received and processed.
• Check your Email: You will be updated via email if your visa has been accepted or declined. Check your email regularly for updates on your application.
